Dozens of isolated programs all attempt to address hunger in the county

There are many programs and organizations in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, aimed at combating hunger in the area. The triple threat of poor coordination, a lack of funds, and poor awareness, mean that many people still go hungry.

Solution: Coalition coordinates efforts between organizations and raises funds to scale efforts

A new initiative in Lancaster County is centralizing efforts to officially end hunger in the area. By mapping all resources, coordinating distribution and fundraising efforts, and spreading awareness to the public on programs they may qualify for, they feel they can meet all needs in the county by expanding existing operations, instead of launching new ones.
